The current model uses a Pertex® Quantum Pro ripstop shell for superior water and wind resistance, RDS-certified 850 fill-power goose down for premium lightweight insulation, and PrimaLoft® Gold Insulation Eco synthetic insulation for boosting warmth in compressed regions such as the head, upper back, bottom and heels. The down is also treated with DownTek™ treatment to shield it from moisture and prevent clumping, allowing it to continue insulating down to -28°C when dampness is likely present. The bag construction optimises thermal efficiency, with vertical baffles zoned around your torso, and the trapezoidal box wall design allowing the insulation to fill to the corners so there are no gaps and no clumping. Your ears stay completely protected with the 3D hood with face baffle, while the slightly extra-sized cantered foot box traps heat because your feet are resting naturally on a bed of down, even with booties on. The mummy shape tapers to your body's natural contours to minimise bulk and reduce air pockets, but still allows you to store water bottles or electronics inside close to body warmth. The hood and neck baffle can be tightened to help trap warm air inside, and to ensure a complete seal the zipper stops just above your feet.
