The X-shaped frame in combination with mobile hip fins that wrap around the hips and Deuter's ergonomic trapezoid-shaped lumbar pad combine to effectively distribute and stabilise the load. The pack is also equipped with walking pole and ice axe loops, compression straps for reducing load size, and an integrated zip pocket in the lid.
