The KEEN.RUGGED outsole is twice as abrasion-resistant as rubber so the multi-directional lugs stay grippy and in shape, while the heel capture system and stability shank ensure lightweight stability with every step. The KEEN.Dry waterproof, breathable membrane lets vapour out without letting water in, and a PFAS-free water repellency on the outside repels water just as well as forever chemicals without harming the planet. 5.5x plastic bottles are recycled to create the webbing, laces and mesh for each pair of the new Targhee IV, while the smallest pieces of scrap leather used in automotive upholstery have been saved from landfill and given a new life on the tongue.
