KEEN's most durable - and consciously-created - Targhee yet, the KEEN Targhee IV Waterproof Hiking Shoe might just be the last hiking shoe you buy. It uses their new KEEN.FUSION mechanical bond, an innovative construction that fuses the upper and sole together for a longer-lasting bond without the use of glues and solvents, making it lighter on the planet and ensuring it won't delaminate (yes, they guarantee it). It also features their air-injected Luftcell midsole, which feels springy and resists compression over time through 100,000 air bubbles per cubic centimetre.

The heel capture system and stability shank ensure lightweight stability with every step, while the KEEN.RUGGED outsole - which is twice as abrasion-resistant as rubber - keeps the multi-directional lugs grippy and in shape. The KEEN.Dry waterproof, breathable membrane lets vapour out without letting water in, and a PFAS-free water repellency on the outside repels water just as well as forever chemicals without harming the planet. For each new pair of the Targhee IV, 5.5 plastic bottles are recycled to create the webbing, laces and mesh, while the smallest pieces of scrap leather used in automotive upholstery have been saved from landfill and given a new life on the tongue.
