Paying tribute to the history of Mountain Designs, our Heritage Print tee collection uses prints that highlight iconic moments from the company’s past or illustrate the DNA of the brand. The red design features the Mountain Designs tag line and some retro mountaintops, referencing the birth of the company in 1974 when founder Rick White attempted to climb the granite peaks of Fitz Roy in Patagonia. The tee itself is made from 100% organic cotton under the Global Organic Textile Standard, making it exceptionally soft on the skin and sensitive to those with allergies. It is EarthPositive®, meaning it is ethically made from organic materials and manufactured using sustainable wind and solar power energy to make it climate neutral, and also Fair Wear Foundation approved in which a portion of the price goes back to the garment workers towards their living wage.
