Our Heritage Acid tee pays tribute to the company’s original Acid logo that adorned products through the late 1970s and early 80s. The psychedelic artwork was inspired by the first-ever Australian expedition to Fitz Roy in Patagonia in 1974, when company founder Rick White and climbing partner Robert ‘Squeak’ Staszewski were so awestruck by ‘the exceptional natural beauty sculptured into the rugged ice and granite surrounds’ that they envisaged crafting outdoor gear worthy of such an exotic destination. The tee itself is exceptionally soft on the skin and sensitive to those with allergies, being made from 100% organic cotton under the Global Organic Textile Standard. It is ethically manufactured using sustainable energy making it climate neutral, and is also Fair Wear Foundation approved in which a portion of the price goes back to the garment workers towards their living wage.
