Mountain Designs sleeping bags are independently laboratory tested
according to EN 13537 to ensure you have the right sleeping bag for the right climate.
The temperature rating of our sleeping bags are indicated in 3 different measurements:
"T-Comfort" – Based on the a temperature at which a standard adult female is deemed to be able to have a comfortable nights sleep.
"T-Limit" – Based on the lowest temperature at which a standard adult male is deemed to be able to have a comfortable nights sleep.
"T-Extreme" – The minimum temperature a standard female can survive in.
Down Insulation: Down works for you just like it works for the bird; it keeps you warm by trapping body heat within its tiny clusters. Down is quite durable and resilient, retaining shape and loft if it is well cared for.
Box Wall Baffle Construction: This highly effective method of baffle construction keeps weight to a minimum whilst the careful management of baffle height allows down to loft to its maximum.
DWR (Durable Water Repellent): DWR finish not only resists water from soaking into the fabric but also repels dirt, blood, wine and other nasty substances.
